Biomass energy

Biomass gasification and power generation technology is to convert all kinds of biomass energies (such as agricultural and forestry waste materials, domestic organic refuse) into combustible gas through gasification for power generation by generator set. Biomass gasification and power generation not only can achieve efficient use of renewable energy, but also can reduce the environmental pollution of various organic waste materials.

Biomass gasification and power generation can be realized by three ways: the combustible gas generated by biomass gasification is directly delivered  into the gas-fired boiler as fuel to produce steam which drives the steam turbine for power generation afterwards; the purified combustible gas can be delivered into the gas turbine for power generation; the purified combustible gas can also be delivered into the internal combustion engine for power generation. With respect to the scale of power generation and investment, they apply to large, medium and small-scale power generation system, respectively.

Today, the most commercially successful biomass gasification and internal combustion power generation technology is widely promoted and applied by virtue of its small installed capacity, flexible layout, less investment, compact structure, reliable technology, low running cost, obvious economic benefit, simple operation and maintenance and low requirement on the quality of gas.
