Small Off-Grid PV Power Station
The power station with a capacity of less than 50KW can be off grid. The off-grid power station features independent power generation for its own use, which doesn’t need Mains supply and can store electricity for use at any time. It’s disadvantage is that the battery is needed to be maintained and replaced, with a higher cost.
Large Scale on-grid PV Power Station
The power station with a capacity of more than 50KW shall be connected with the grid. The on-grid power station features low cost and direct use after power generation, without battery. Its disadvantage is that it must rely on mains supply. If there is no mains supply, no power generation, namely the electricity demand is not suitable for on-grid system.
